I develop websites using Textpattern & all-grid (my template of Textpattern code & css styling libraries).

I’m constantly tweaking the theme to better reflect client needs, rolling in improvements & new functionality so my next project is easier/faster to develop.

I needed a website to thoroughly test the functionality of all-grid, and to see if it is flexible enough to cope with whatever I throw at it.

Wairarapa DIY is the result.

As much thermal mass as we could reasonably accommodate, and a means to distribute heat gains throughout the house.

We selected foil-faced PIR boards for their insulating and wet-barrier ability, and their ease of use
